Renee
Instructor
Renee Brown is the founder of Renee’s Stitch & Style School in Lewes, Delaware, established in 2025 after retiring from a long career in education, fashion, and theatrical costume design. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising and a teaching degree, and previously taught Fashion and Textiles at Cape Henlopen High School while also serving as a director for the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club in Rehoboth Beach. Prior to relocating to Delaware, she worked in Phoenix, Arizona as a theatrical costume designer and Costume Shop Manager, mentoring high school and college interns as well as community volunteers. Renee now teaches hand and machine sewing for children and adults, sharing her passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and lifelong learning through the art of sewing.
